Elevate your iced coffee with the ultimate ice cream recipe

Vietnamese Iced Coffee is a classic loved all over the world. It is made by dripping medium to dark roast coffee through a metal filter into sweetened condensed milk, then stirring and serving over ice. While this iced coffee recipe is sweet and refreshing all on its own, when turned into ice cream it truly cannot be beat. This no-churn ice cream recipe takes a little longer than others, but the end result is certainly worth it. The early bird gets the jumpstart! Get started now.

Here is what you’ll need:

  • 1/2 cup of coffee made from our Cold Brew Concentrate for the smoothest experience
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Camerons cold brew concentrate on ice

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix 1 part cold brew concentrate & 1 part your choice (water, milk, creamer).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and the cold brew coffee. Stir until it is well blended.
  3. In a separate large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream using a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium-high speed until the cream is well whisked.
  4. Gently mix and fold the whipped cream into the coffee and condensed milk mixture. Add in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and continue to whisk until everything is well mixed and smooth. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream by over-mixing.
  5. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan, glass plan or a similar-sized container. Smooth the top with a spoon or spatula. Cover the container with plastic wrap or aluminum foil, and make sure the wrap touches the surface of the ice cream so it can remain creamy smooth.
  6. Place the container in the freezer overnight, and make sure the ice cream is firm before removing it.
  7. Scoop your ice cream into bowls or cones, and enjoy!
  • For a fun garnish, sprinkle some crushed coffee beans or chocolate shavings on top before serving.
  • If you like a stronger coffee flavor, you can increase the amount of coffee to 3/4th cup, but make sure to adjust the sweetness accordingly.
