Top 3! Best Non-Alcoholic Coffee Drinks
Try these delicious coffee-based and alcohol-free mocktails for your dry January resolution or for an easy pick-me-up any time.
1. Simply Happy Coffee Soda
To enjoy this coffee soda, you might want to make a quick coffee syrup that will add the smoothest level of sweetness when mixed with your favorite sparkling water.
We are using Cameron’s Vanilla Hazelnut Instant Coffee, but you could really use any of your favorite flavors or blends to customize this mocktail.
Ingredients
1 cup of freshly made Cameron’s coffee
½ cup of sugar
Sparkling water
1 lemon
Ice
Method
- Step one is to make your coffee syrup. Add your freshly made cup of coffee (Instant, brewed, or your favorite method) to a small pan. Half fill the cup you used for your coffee with sugar and pour into the pan with the coffee.
- Heat the mixture until it’s reduced by half and formed a nice thick syrup.
- Pour a good drizzle of your syrup into a glass and top with crushed ice. Have some fun and smash ice in a bag with a rolling pin or other heavy object.
- Top with plenty of sparkling water and a twist of lemon on top. Stir it up and enjoy!
For a little variation in flavor, you could add a little lavender, a sprig of rosemary, an orange slice or any flavor that mixes it up for you!
2. Cold Fashioned
Want to cozy up in your favorite blanket and sip on a fresh take on a classic old-fashioned style drink? This one is for you!
Ingredients
2oz cold brew coffee concentrate
1/2oz simple syrup
Orange bitters
Ice
Orange/Cherry garnish
Method
The first step will be brewing your coffee with a cold-brew method and your favorite Cameron’s blend. Of course, we are going to use our Brandy Old-Fashioned blend to really enhance the flavor of this drink. Our smooth-as-ever Cold Brew Blend might be a better choice if you like an unflavored coffee.
This recipe is so simple and so delicious. All you do is mix in 2 – 3 oz. of cold brew coffee with a little simple syrup and a splash of orange bitters. Pour it in a glass over ice and then garnish with an orange slice and a cherry! Oooooh it’s going to be so good!
3. Caffeinated White Russian
This drink is so creamy, smooth, and delicious. You won’t be missing the vodka in this classic beverage. So before we break the rules, we have to know what is in a classic white russian! The non-coffee version traditionally has: Vodka, fresh cream, and coffee liqueur. We think we can do better.
This bold but creamy drink can be served anytime but is particularly great as an after dinner sipping drink that will perk you up and leave you without a hangover.
Ingredients
2 cups of freshly made Cameron’s coffee (makes 4 drinks)
Vanilla bean Soda
Cameron’s Vanilla Hazelnut Iced Latte
1 Filbert / Hazelnut to garnish
Ice
Method
- Prepare a small pot of Cameron’s Coffee. Any blend that you love will do, but you might try Intense French for a light vanilla flavor.
- Next chill 2 cups of Cameron’s coffee and add about ½ cup to your lowball or glass.
- Add 2 oz. dry sparkling Vanilla Soda. We like this Minnesota Company, but you can use any type of Vanilla Soda or Sarsparilla you can find.
- Top with Cameron’s Vanilla Hazelnut Iced Latte to taste and enjoy.
- You can make it authentic by adding a filbert or hazelnut to your glass. Another variation would be adding a sprig of peppermint for a minty flavor.
