Cold Brew Hot Toddy

Our take on the winter’s classic, warm cocktail

Happy New Year! January is all about fresh starts, deeper intentions, and, if you’re in the Midwest, staying warm. A Hot Toddy with a caffeinated twist is the perfect cozy pick-me-up. Customize it to your convenience. Sweet, savory, and satisfying—give our recipe a try and enjoy!

Here is what you’ll need:

  • 4 oz of our cold brew  concentrate
  • 2 oz hot water
  • 1½ oz bourbon or dark rum
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 slice fresh lemon
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Optional: 2oz of orange juice
  • Optional: 1 star anise pod 
  • Optional: 2-3 thin slices of fresh ginger
  • Optional: nutmeg
Cameron's Cold Brew Concentrate

Instructions:

  • Heat the cold brew and water together until steaming. 
  • Add honey, bourbon, and mix until it completely dissolves. 
  • Squeeze the lemon slice into the mixture and drop it in.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
  • Serve hot and drink up!
