3. Commit to Small Changes that Make a Big Difference
How can you take small steps today to help the earth? Bring a reusable bag to the grocery store, turn off the lights when you leave the room, start a garden, brew your coffee at home with a reusable mug before heading out for the day! We all can do our part.
Here at Cameron’s, we take small steps every day, too! We designed our new facility in 2008 to reflect our environmentally friendly mission. We use an energy efficient roaster/afterburner to reduce energy consumption to ⅛ of industry standards, installed an efficient (and massive!) fan to keep employees cool and reduce gas consumption, built our dock doors with energy saving air blocking systems and, on top of all that, eliminated virtually all water waste in production.
