What is the most unique part of your job?
I work on innovation, so our team dreams up ideas and I get to make those ideas come to life! Trend analysis, concept testing, flavor development… no two days are the same. I work with some really smart people from all areas of our business.
When and where was the best cup of coffee you’ve ever had?
It’s hard to beat the experience of a great cup of coffee at the source. I’ve been lucky enough to sip Colombian coffee on the farm where it was grown, served by the farmer who produced it. A fresh, fruity, citrusy cup; lush mountains as the backdrop.
What is the best part of working at Cameron’s Coffee?
The coffee brought me here, but the people keep me here. It’s energizing to work with a team that is creative, loves all things Cameron’s, and enjoys working together. We’re a small but mighty team and I feel lucky to be a part of it!
What is your favorite part of Lake Superior’s North Shore?
There are so many things! The best is experiencing the peace in nature up there. Somehow the air feels more fresh, the sunrises more vibrant. Whether it’s a hike on the Superior Hiking Trail, lunch and a cocktail near the water in Canal Park or a run along the Lake Superior shoreline, I’ve made some of my favorite memories Up North.
Why is North Shore your favorite blend of Cameron’s Coffee?
As soon as I tasted this blend in our cupping room during development, it was an instant favorite. It’s chocolatey and citrusy and floral- the perfect cup to brew for a sit on the dock, watching the sunrise on the lake (or in your kitchen pretending you’re sipping with a view of the BWCA).
