Café Glacé Recipe

Say Oui to this French-themed, icey smooth recipe!

Café Glacé is Parisian Iced Coffee. In honor of the 2024 summer sporting events, try this sweet, refreshing iced coffee! This recipe can be tried with any dark roast blend, but it is best with our Intense French Blend. We may not be there for the festivities, but with this recipe, a taste of Paris is only a few steps away.

Here is what you’ll need:

  • 1 cup of a strong brewed dark roast coffee, cooled 
  • 1-2 teaspoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • 1/2 oz chocolate syrup 
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step One 
Brew a strong cup of coffee, and use a french press if you’re feeling the French spirit! Allow the coffee to cool to room temperature, then let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Step Two 
Once the coffee is chilled, add the sugar and stir until completely dissolved. Adjust the sweetness to your taste.

Step Three
Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour the sweetened coffee over the ice cubes.

Step Four
Add a dash of chocolate syrup, or lightly whip the heavy cream until it thickens slightly and pour it gently into your glass. 

Step Five
Serve and enjoy your Café Glacé!
